Pure Fresh Water
Sea Salt and Organic Cracked Black Pepper to taste
8 large Free Range Naturally Fed Organic Eggs
1 large heavy bottomed Pot with lid
Method
Place the eggs
in a heavy stainless saucepan or pot and cover with about 25cm to 35 cm (1
& 1/2 in) of cold water.
Bring the water to the boil, and then turn off the heat.
Place the lid on the saucepan and leave the eggs to finish
cooking in the hot water Depending on how you like your eggs cooked, will
depend on how long you leave the eggs in the hot water, as a guide.
After 2 minutes the white will not be fully set and the
yolks will be totally raw.
After 4 minutes the white will be fully cooked and the yolk
will be thick and runny.
After 6 minutes
the white will be fully cooked and the yolk is mostly cooked but still runny in
the center.
After 8 minutes the white and yolk are both cooked but still
soft
After 10 minutes the whole egg is fully cooked and suitable
for slicing.
