Easy Gluten Free French Bread recipe


Ingredients
2 cups of Organic or Homemade Rice Flour
1 cup of Organic or Homemade Potato Flour
1 & 1/2 tsp of Sea Salt
1 tbsp of melted Unsalted Organic Pure Butter
3 Free Range Naturally Fed Organic Egg Whites, beaten
1 tsp of Homemade or Organic Vinegar
1  tbsp of Konjac Powder
2  tbsp of Raw Honey or Organic Raw Sugar
1  & 1/2 cups of slightly Warm Water
2  tbsp of Instant Organic Yeast


Method
Place the flours, konjac powder and salt in your mixer bowl to blend and aerate on low (this can all also be done by hand).
Place the warm water and the honey in small bowl and mix together, sprinkle the yeast into the bowl and stir to combine and wait a few minutes for yeast to start working. Then blend the water and yeast into the dry ingredients. Add the butter, egg whites and the vinegar, then beat on high for 3 minutes.
Oil 2 baking sheets with butter or coconut oil and dust them lightly with cornmeal.
Spoon the dough onto the baking sheets in the shape of French loaves.
Make diagonal slashes in the top of the loaves about every 5cm (2in).
Then cover the dough and leave it in a warm place to rise until doubled in size.
Bake them for 30 to 35 minutes in a pre-heated oven @ 200 degC (400 degF).

Remove them from the oven and allow them to cool.
